Composable Discovery Protocol

Description
Index is a composable discovery protocol that allows to create truly personalized and autonomous discovery experiences across the web. Index provides a decentralized semantic index that eliminates data fragmentation, a composable discovery protocol that allows data to be queried from multiple sources, in a user-centric manner. On top of this,...

How It Works

Decentralized Semantic Index

Index configures data to be both composable and queryable with natural language. Index stores all data on a decentralized knowledge graph, ensuring blockchain-based privacy and data ownership. Then, Index constructs vector embeddings of the data, enabling generating knowledge-linked responses.

Composable Discovery Protocol

The composable discovery protocol of Index allows users to query multiple indexes together. For example, within a chat setting, responses can be generated using both a community index and a private index. This enables users to have an integrated discovery experience, ensuring responses are both personalized and trusted.

Event-based Agent Infrastructure

Index allows the automation of knowledge tasks by using AI agents and provides a network for multiple autonomous agents to work both independently and in a coordinated fashion. Index allows agents to subscribe to contexts using natural language queries, such as simply saying, "Tell me if something new happens about quantum materials." By enabling users to interact with agents using natural language, Index facilitates the composition of autonomous agents for information discovery, bringing together a variety of economic models and methods.
